2. Cooling Skin:

Dermatologist Dr. Michelle Henry says that cold helps the pain, burning, and itching of sunburn. Cool your skin if you are having sunburn. Don’t put ice directly on the skin. First, you can cover the ice with a towel or cloth. Then, put it on your skin. After that apply it for 15-20 minutes. Then, take 1-2 hours of a break before applying ice again on the skin. You can also use damp towels for cooling your body.

3. Cold Shower:

Get a frequent cold shower or bath in a bathtub. After that, dry yourself with a towel.

4. Moisturizer:

Leave some drops of water in your skin after the bath. Then, use a moisturizer with no fragrance or harmful irritants according to Dr. Dray.

7. Cornstarch:

Firstly, take cornstarch. Then add water till it becomes like a paste. After that, apply it to your sunburned skin. It helps to soothe your skin.

8. Boiled And Mashed Potatoes:

First, boil one or two potatoes. Then cool it down and peel it. Next, mash the potatoes and apply it to your skin as a dressing. Potatoes contain starch and it helps to draw heat as well as reduce pain.

9. Cucumbers:

Cucumbers are pain-relieving and soothing ingredients for sunburn. Firstly, peel the cucumber. Next, blend it and make a paste. Then, put the paste in the affected area of the skin (including the face).

10. Skipping Soap:

Don’t use the soap right after coming from the sun. Using soap dry out and irritate your sunburned skin. At first, take a cold bath for a while. Then you can use a moisturizing body wash instead of soap. 

11. Drinking Fluids:

Sunburn causes dehydration. Dr. Dray recommends that, as skin is losing water because of sunlight, stay hydrated. Drink lots of fluids. 2-3 liters of water is required for your health. Otherwise, your skin will get dry.

Aloe vera is one of the best medicines for sunburn. According to Dr. Reagan Anders, aloe vera contains anti-inflammatory compounds and a low risk of irritation. It helps skin from the sunburn and redness caused by sunburn. You can put both aloe vera gel or cube. But it will be great for your sunburn if you put it in the refrigerator as aloe vera ice cubes. Then, apply the cubes to the damaged skin. You can use it 5-6 times a day.

13. Wear Loose-fitting Clothes:
